I thought my Soul would rise and fly away: ?

I thought my Soul would rise and fly away: ?

this is a very good book about a slave when she was free. she discribes that she thought her soul would fly away, but in reality she still felt capyive to the place where she was a slave. where would she go? what could she do? she had no education or family so she felt as if she had no choice but to do what she always had. thats kind of what i thought when i got saved, my soul would rise and it would all be jazzy smazzy but the truth is we are still on this earth and we are called by God to live for him though the good and the bad. think about it.

Hey Dionne!
How are you??? I miss your sweet smile. I love what you said, "God is the only one worthy of the cap locks!" Amen to that! Anyway, tell your mom that I said Hi.
